The second stage of learning is co-ordination, which includes the legs and body as well as the arms, so that you will have them from drive and recovery. The third stage is learning to do it with another rower in sync. Most of the time rowing training is going to be done in a group atmosphere and most of the time you are not going to get it on your first try if you go in and think that you are bad. You are going to have to take your time and learn just as anyone else would have to do. There are some people that feel that they shouldn't have to go through rowing training because they are older and they know everything. Well, that is not the case at all; you need the rowing training so that you do not hurt your self and so that you are able to get the most benefits from the rowing training. If you want to, ask someone that you know to train you as you are familiar with them. That way you can pick who you work with and so that you don't have to be in a strange environment. |
